IMPULSE RESPONSE PACKS

Finally, they’re here!!!

For the first bundle, we used a 1960 Lead 4x12 cab with a variety of Celestion speakers. Each speaker has anywhere from 5-8 microphones to select form with 8-12 positions with for mic (depending on the speaker). These are also available for the Kemper Profiling Amp, as well!

The speakers used are as follows:

  • Celestion Creamback 65 16 ohm (Sits really well in a mix and has different kind of top end and snarl than the traditional V30)

  • G12T-75 16 ohm (This is a classic speaker that comes stock in the 1960 Lead cab. I had 4 of these and picked my favorite sounding one out of them. This speaker is great for metal and has a unique sound. It’s been used on a LOADS of metal records in the past)

  • Marshall Voiced V30 T3897 16 ohm BR (This is the bottom right position of the cab and is 1 of 2 of this type of speaker used in this bundle. This is a newer Marshall V30 and is the staple for all of the 1960 Vintage cabs. It has been thoroughly broken in and is a sound that has been used in abundance throughout history).

  • Marshall Voiced V30 T3897 16 ohm TL (Same model as the previous speaker, but in the Top Left position on the cab. Even though it’s the same speaker, it is still voiced a bit differently than the other. You can by 4 of the exact speaker and they will all sound a little different…even in the same position of the enclosure. So experiment and see which one you like best!)
